Lucy has solid experience in international development working in a project management role on complex multi-component development programmes.
Experience includes working on DFID-funded Challenge Fund projects in multiple countries which aimed to stimulate increased use of innovative agricultural research technologies, processes and policies. Lucy acted as the central linchpin between the projects, the programme itself and other external actors, helping coordinate all activities, reporting, and financing issues.
Lucy also coordinated projects across Africa aiming at catalysing sustainable and large scale livelihood improvements and poverty reduction.
Lucy worked in Bolivia for over one year on an integrated rural development programme as well as in Rwanda, Thailand and Kenya.
At IMC Lucy is engaged in the management of several framework agreements funded by the EU and DFID.
“IMC is a fantastic environment to work in, with fully committed staff who care about our work and will go the extra mile to make sure we achieve good results. IMC also has a collaborative culture with staff who are very approachable and flexible – ideas are welcomed and listened to.”
