Pakeer has extensive knowledge and experience of the implementation of Highway and building infrastructure projects across a broad range of fields and in a wide spectrum of countries. His experience comprises more than fifteen years of design and construction supervision in roads including minor bridges, Drainage Engineering, road maintenance, road safety and traffic management projects and over 6 years experiences in building infrastructure including design of storm water drainage system.
Over the period, he has held various positions especially, Team Leader, Project Manager/Resident Engineer, Contract / Procurement Expert, Highway Engineer, Pavement Engineer, Drainage Engineer, and Road safety Auditor. Since 2006, he has been extensively involved in Output Performance based Road Contracts (OPRC) projects which include design, preparation of performance contract documents using WB sample OPRC documents and monitoring of construction.
He has worked in extensively Bangladesh, Botswana, Ethiopia, Gambia, Guyana, Lesotho, Sri Lanka, South Sudan, United Kingdom and Zambia. He has been closely involved in working on projects with large international financing institutions and multi/bi-lateral development cooperation agencies, including the ADB, AfDB, World Bank, DFID, EU, DANIDA, IDB and IADB.
