Ben Walker is a communications specialist with a focus on knowledge management, community and grassroots media, digital production, graphic design, and education.
Currently, Ben provides knowledge management, communication and research support to three DFID-funded programmes. For the innovation prize programme, Ideas to Impact, Ben is monitoring online engagement for research uptake of the programme; for the Evaluation of the Female Genital Cutting Programme (Sudan) Ben has developed visualisations / infographics for the inception phase stakeholder mapping process and for the South-South knowledge exchange programme Connect to Grow, Ben designed a series of learning-related infographics.
Prior to joining IMC, Ben has provided communications and design support to projects such as the DFID-funded STAR-Ghana, GEMS4 and PSP. He has also worked as a digital producer and communications professional in several contexts, as video editor for a national news programme in Samoa, as photojournalist in Palestine and podcast production in the UK.
