The Global Programmes team is leading on the growth of the global and multi-region portfolio, improving internal management systems, and encouraging and enabling new technical sector areas to emerge from within IMC. We focus on building partnerships and networks, improving our contractual and financial management systems, and building capacity to win and manage complex programmes from the UK.
Our key achievements thus far include leading the consortium that is implementing DFID’s research programme into prize-driven innovation, Ideas to Impact, and managing Connect to Grow, which links successful Indian innovators with entrepreneurs in other lower-income countries. These programmes have cemented IMC’s reputation as a thought leader and strong delivery partner for innovation programmes.
This success helped IMC secure the subsequent Frontier Technology Livestreaming project, which aims to help DFID staff pilot and learn from the use of frontier technologies to solve development challenges. Additionally, IMC provides global monitoring, evaluation and learning services to a number of UK government entities, including DFID through Evidence on Demand, and DFID, DEFRA and BEIS through Climate Change Compass, which provides support to monitoring, evaluation and learning of the International Climate Fund.
Our programmes cover a range of different technical skills including, but not limited to:
