The main goal of this evaluation is to see whether the ATJP should be scaled up across South Sudan. Without a rigorous evidence base, underpinned through both qualitative and quantitative data collection and high quality value for money assessment, a strong justification for the programme to be rolled out does not exist, given the known low quality existing evidence base.
The objectives are to test the effectiveness of the ATJP pilot for potential scale-up by testing various programme hypotheses, and to analyse how the programme may (or may not) have improved access for justice for women and girls and the potential impact this could have on violence against women and girls (VAWG) in the region.
