The Republic of South Sudan had received financing from the International Development Association toward the cost of the South Sudan-eastern Africa Regional Transport and Trade Facilitation Program, and intended to apply part of the proceeds for consulting services to assist the Ministry of Transport, Roads and Bridges in preparing a suite of output and performance-based road method of contracting bidding documents and to provide support during the procurement of the contracts.
The major objective of this project is to support implementation of the upgrading of Juba-Nadapal Road using the OPRC, covering approximately 340 km that form part of the major transport corridor linking South Sudan to Kenya.
