MUPE is a new five year DFID programme that aims to support more relevant learning for all Myanmar’s children, equipping them for life after school. The programme will support Government of Myanmar, Ministry of Education and local/ethnic authorities and other non-state actors to make the education system in Myanmar more accessible, better in quality and more inclusive.
Our team will provide a robust evaluation of the delivery components of MUPE and to generate evidence and learning to inform component delivery and associated policy implementation. We will also support the other components of MUPE to deliver their monitoring systems and to engage in lesson learning and adaptation. It is also expected that MUPE-EELC will support achievement of Myanmar’s National Education Strategic Plan’s (NESP) transformational shift of management, capacity development and quality assurance, and contribute evidence on achievement of the NESP’s impact goal and other transformational shifts.
