This technical assistance is for the management of £7m capital expenditure for education infrastructure as part of a wider programme that also supports Malawi Early Reading Improvement Activity. The anticipated results are to increase numbers successfully completing primary school with improved learning outcomes through improved access to and quality of education in Malawi, through both access to an improved learning environment and availability of quality foundational literacy.
The principal outputs that this technical assistance is responsible for is to expand and deliver more equitable access to primary education through school construction, including WASH facilities at 48 sites and IT resource rooms constructed at 12 sites.
