USAID Launches $29 Million Project to Deliver Reliable Energy across Lebanon

IMC will build renewable energy power plants throughout various small municipalities Lebanon.

Thursday 07 October 2021

IMC are pleased to announce that we have been awarded the “Innovation for Affordable and Renewable Energy for All (INARA)” Activity under the Initiative to Deliver Essential Assistance and Services (IDEAS) Project for USAID in Lebanon. The program is named INARA because in Lebanese it means ‘to bring light”.

The goal of INARA is to increase the supply of electricity generation at the municipal level and to increase the cost effectiveness, eco-friendliness, sustainability, and reliability of municipal power supply, while also clarifying and strengthening the enabling environment for renewable energy (RE) based electrical power generation.
