Six leading consultancy and engineering executives were celebrated at the Association for Consultancy & Engineering [ACE] European CEO Awards gala dinner held in London on Thursday 12 November. The awards are part of the European CEO Conference, a forum for discussion and debate between CEOs in the consultancy and engineering industry.
Now in their fifth year the awards reward business leaders who combine innovation, imagination and inspiration to motivate their teams to improve their business competitiveness and performance.
IMC Worldwide Managing Director Gavin English received the Sterling Award.
“It was humbling to even be shortlisted for this award alongside such highly respected and impressive leaders. So to receive the award is just unbelievable and very flattering,” says Gavin. “For me leadership is about inspiring your staff to believe in the cause, believe in themselves, and to then achieve more than they thought was possible. But without good people leaders achieve nothing. So this award is as much a tribute to the quality and ability of my staff as it is to my leadership.”
