The Role
IMC DDGT is looking for a project analyst/associate to support a broad range of DDGT activities, and often two or three activities concurrently. Projects require different skills and tasks, and the level of effort will vary over time. We are looking for candidates who are interested in learning more about this field, promoting ethical practices within digital development, and sharing their knowledge with others.

The right candidate is knowledgeable, adaptable, self-motivated, and willing to take on new tasks at short notice and in support of other colleagues. Some travel (up to 25% time) may be required after COVID restrictions are lifted.
Main responsibilities/job content

Project Work
This position will support project management teams on the execution of DDGT activities, including the following types of tasks:

  • Research support (document reviews, interviews, data analysis, writing)
  • Technology and system analysis and assessments (contextual assessments, SWOT analysis)
  • Logistical support (interview scheduling and status tracking, note taking, data cleaning, copyediting)
  • Project implementation (financial project management & reporting, subcontractor management, deliverable review, document organization, project workplans)
  • Communications support (writing, editing, posting on social media)
  • Public and project presentations (in writing and live) of findings, recommendations and lessons learned
  • Specialized tasks based on interests and past experience


Business Development & Communications

  • Support DDGT to identify business development leads and opportunities
  • Support business proposal writing and editing, including diagrams and document formatting, partner management, and past performance tracking
  • Support IMC DDGT communications (web copy, corporate cap statements, press releases, etc.) on an as-needed basis
  • Contribute to the small but growing DDGT practice by working internally and externally to increase awareness of DDGT expertise and knowledge
