Over 9 years of experience in environmental and social assessment and management and water and sanitation in Africa, Asia and South America.

Veronica has more than 9 years of experience in the environmental sector and her work has covered 13 countries across the world.

She is currently prize manager and sanitation specialist on the Ghana Urban Sanitation challenge, within the DFID-funded Ideas to Impact programme. Before that, her experience in the water and sanitation sector has ranged from working as a water supply specialist for the improvement of drinking water supply on the island of Tristan da Cunha (South Atlantic), to being the technical lead for a feasibility study for a wastewater treatment plant in Vietnam, to developing a strategy for the management of solid waste in camps for Internally Displaced People in Thailand.

Veronica has also worked as environmental specialist on numerous programmes, including the provision of environmental and social advisory services to the IFC for the development of the Kampala-Jinja Expressway in Uganda and the EU-funded Technical Assistance Programme to the Ministry of Transport in Malawi.

Veronica has also published extensively on international journals, delivered training and workshops and participated to international conferences.
