Rachel is a development professional with three years of experience in international relations and development.
Before joining IMC, Rachel spent two years in Tajikistan, initially working for a local education and civil society NGO as an English teacher, grant writer and volunteer coordinator.
She then joined Mercy Corps, a leading international non-profit, where she worked on a multi-million dollar, USAID-funded maternal and child health programme and a range of smaller emergency response, disaster risk reduction and nutrition projects. Her main responsibilities included proposal development, donor-facing communication, reporting and financial monitoring.
At IMC, Rachel provides the team with business development, pipeline management and other administrative support.
Rachel remains interested in Central Asia, with additional thematic interests in natural resource management, food security, and conflict and (in)security programming.
Rachel has a Level 1 PMD Pro (Program Management for Development Professionals) certification and she speaks business-level Russian and basic Tajik.
