Núria has gained technical skills in the transport, urban planning and building engineering sectors during nine years as an engineer. She has been involved in numerous urban and regional development projects including the new design and reconstruction of streets, roads and buildings.
She has worked on the review of design drawings, the development of construction manuals and procedures and contract management of building projects in South Asia, Africa and the Caribbean.
She is currently the project manager of the construction component of the Education Support Programme in Malawi, which aims to review and manage the contractors responsible for the supervision and delivery of 50 schools.
She has been engaged in feasibility studies and detailed designs of road projects, preparing bidding documents and BoQs, project deliverables and technical specifications. Her latest assignment was in Guyana working on the upgrading of the East Bank Demerara Road.
Núria has additional extensive experience in bid management and preparation of financial and technical methodologies for international donors as well as governments from developing countries.
