Núria Biosca

Senior Consultant, Engineering

Ten years' experience delivering technical inputs and project management in the fields of transport, buildings and urban development.

Núria has gained technical skills in the transport, urban planning and building engineering sectors during her ten years as an engineer. She has been involved in numerous urban and regional development projects including the new design and reconstruction of streets, roads and buildings.

She has worked on the review of design drawings, development of construction manuals and contract management of assignments in Africa, South Asia and the Caribbean. She has recently completed the National Physical Development plan for Swaziland, where she was the housing expert and project manager studying human settlements, housing and community facilities.

She has been engaged in feasibility studies and preparation of project deliverables of transport projects while focusing on sustainable development. She is currently the project manager of the Building Climate Resilience into the Improving Rural Access Tanzania Programme (IRAT).

Nuria has additional extensive in bid management and preparation of financial and technical methodologies for international donors as well as governments from developing countries.
