Since joining IMC in 2011, Kat has worked within different teams (Regional Management and Technical) but as of 1st January 2017 she was promoted to the position of Business Improvement Leader.
This appointment will help IMC to make long-lasting improvements to our systems and move forward with our current strategic priorities.
As Business Improvement Leader, she takes responsibility for the company’s compliance to international standards. In addition, she is working closely with other IMC staff members to learn from the vast experience held within the firm in solving shared problems and encourage best practice and innovation.
Kat was recently part of the three-person team that carried out a Strategic Review of the Construction Sector Transparency Initiative.
Previously, Kat has been the Training Advisor on IMC’s Technical Assistance team for the National Roads Authority in The Gambia.
In Ethiopia, she was part of the team developing Performance Management tools for the Roads Authority.
Kat has been involved in the conceptual and detailed design stages of the ERAMS system which will used to periodically assess the performance of ERA’s suppliers.
‘Whether we’re consultants working together to present a winning proposal or a team working alongside the client to overcome a particular challenge – how people work together, develop, and problem solve to overcome shared challenges is something that fascinates me.’
