Katherine Liakos

Consultant, Monitoring, Evaluation & Learning

Five years’ experience in international development including non-profit and public sector, with a focus on monitoring, evaluation and learning, project management, gender and social development.

Katherine Liakos is a dedicated development professional with 5 years’ experience in the development sector, ranging from non-profit and public sector to consultancy work. She has lived in Peru and worked extensively with Andean communities and civil societies, as well as Ethiopia working in monitoring and evaluation. Further experience includes work in Mozambique, Belgium, Kosovo, France and UK.

Katherine’s M&E experience covers water, sanitation & hygiene, food security and cash transfer programmes (particularly in refugee camp context) amongst others, with experience in qualitative and quantitative research methods and data collection. She works as part of the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning team at IMC and also has strong project management and research skills.

Prior to joining IMC Worldwide, Katherine has worked for the European Commission Directorate General for International Cooperation and Development. Other past roles include Project Manager for the Dutch foundation Stichting Wees Kind in Peru and M&E intern at Jarco Consulting, Ethiopia.

Katherine speaks English, Spanish and French as well as basic Greek and Amharic.
