Ten years of experience in international development, programme monitoring, evaluation design and implementation, results and learning.

Kate is a Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) specialist with over ten years of experience working across Africa, Asia and the Caribbean for DFID, the WB, OECD DAC and the EU. Kate has designed and undertaken multiple MEL related activities across various technical sectors including gender and violence against women and girls, social protection, innovation, rural livelihoods, extreme poverty, and climate change.

Kate is currently Deputy Lead: Key Performance Indicators, Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning of the International Climate Fund and is working on six other evaluations including: Deputy Team Leader, Evaluation Management Unit for the Open Innovation for Development (Amplify) Programme (Global, DFID); Programme Manager of the Independent Evaluation and Verification of the End Child Marriage Programme (Ethiopia, DFID); Evaluation Lead (Ghana), Evaluation Manager for Making all Voices Count (MAVC) (Global,  DFID), Evaluation Specialist for the End Female Genital Cutting (Sudan), Tamkeen programme (Syria) and the Access to Justice Programme (South Sudan).
