Hanna has joined IMC’s Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) team as a Consultant.
Hanna is a civil engineer with Masters degree in Water, Sanitation and Health.
He has more than six years’ experience in humanitarian response, and international development, including field and remote management in the middle east region, with focus on post-emergency humanitarian reconstructions.
Hanna holds a BSc(Eng) in civil engineering from the University of Aleppo, and a MSc(Eng) in Water, Sanitation, and Health Engineering from the University of Leeds as a joint scholar representing Chevening and Said Foundation.
Prior to IMC, Hanna worked with Relief International, Catholic Relief Services and the Jesuit Refugee Service.
He implemented Relief International’s 2016/17 programme; a 20-million-dollar multi sectorial assistance for conflict-affected communities in Northern Syria, which targeted 600,000 direct beneficiaries, providing Health, and WASH assistance. He has also supported and led programmes in Shelter Rehabilitation, and Informal Settlements Management.
Hanna is currently involved in IMC’s opportunities in Dominica, Tanzania, Ghana, and Colombia.
