Charlotte Watts

Prosperity Fund Co-ordinator, Project Management Unit

An ambitious, driven professional with over 2 years’ experience in project and programme management.

Charlotte has joined IMC as a Prosperity Fund Co-ordinator, contributing to the successful delivery of projects under the Prosperity Fund programme.

Prior to joining IMC, she worked in project management for a UK-based charity. She delivered large scale youth programmes across 3 regions and built relationships with top executives at multinational companies. 

Her voluntary experience has taken her to Nicaragua, where she has experienced international development in the field, working on WASH projects and assisting fellow Nicaraguan volunteers. 

Charlotte has recently completed a MSc in Population and International Development, where she focussed particularly on the relationship between people and the environment, specialising in disaster risk reduction, sustainable livelihoods and climate resilience.

Her research includes; High Fertility in Afghanistan and the 2020 Goal; Disaster Risk Reduction in the Caribbean; and Environment, Land-Use Change and the Structural Adjustment Programmes in Jamaica.
