Welcome to IMC Worldwide
IMC Worldwide has a long and proud history of working in Nepal – not least through the DFID-funded Rural Access Programme (RAP), which we have been implementing in some of Nepal’s poorest and most remote districts since 1999.
At this time of crisis, our thoughts are with all of our staff, our partners and their families, and more broadly with the people of Nepal who have endured so much.
While communications have been up and down since Saturday’s devastating earthquake, we are relieved to report that all of our core team are safe and accounted for.
They, like everyone else in Nepal however, will continue to be affected by loss of homes and infrastructure and impaired access to basic supplies.
We expect that once the RAP team has regrouped, we will be able to contribute to the relief effort in a practical way and will keep you updated.
For now, we are encouraging people to donate to the Disasters Emergency Committee’s Nepal Earthquake Appeal - www.dec.org.uk - DFID are matching the first £5m of public donations.
